"Just Jazzin', a 20-member ensemble that plays big band and contemporary swing and Latin tunes."
I was born in New York and raised in Miami. I studied music at Miami Dade Community Collage. I stopped playing when I was 20 years old and became a hairdresser. I came to Virginia in the late 80s, opened a salon near UVA and decided to pick my horn up again. After a month or so of playing long tones on my trombone, I was pleasantly surprised to have passed my audition with the UVA Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of John D Earth. I can't tell you how great it is to have moved to Harrisonburg and play with some of the most talented group of musicians Virginia has to offer. But, I will tell you this.I am very proud to be a member of Just Jazzin
